JR Cigar’s portfolio of exclusive cigars is getting a new track.

Crowned Heads is sending the retailer an exclusive version of Headley Grange, meaning it’s time for another history lesson of “Led Zeppelin IV.”

The album contains the song “When The Levee Breaks” which was recorded at Headley Grange, a recording and rehearsal space in Hampshire, England. Crowned Heads co-owner Jon Huber asked Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, Jr. to blend a cigar that tasted like the opening drums of “When The Levee Breaks” which became the company’s Headley Grange line.

Also on “Led Zeppelin IV” is a song titled “Black Dog.”

And so the next addition to the Headley Grange line is Black Dog, which will likely informally be known as Headley Grange Maduro. That’s because it uses a Connecticut habano maduro wrapper instead of the Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf normally found on Headley Grange. The filler tobaccos of Black Dog are Nicaraguan and the same as what’s found on the original.

Headley Grange Black Dog will be available in three sizes with the same price points as the sizes have in the original Headley Grange line: Dobles (6 1/8 x 50, $9.45), Estupendos (5 1/2 x 52, $9.25) and Laguito No. 6 (6 1/2 x 56, $10.50).

JR Cigar is already taking pre-orders. Huber told halfwheel the line is expected to ship in “mid-February.”
