There’s a new Mule Kick, this time with a Connecticut habano wrapper.

The Four Kicks Mule Kick Limited Edition 2018 measures 5 7/8 x 52, the same as the 2012 and 2017 versions of the cigar, and it uses the same binder and filler as the regular Four Kicks line. The change comes in the form of the wrapper, now a Connecticut habano instead of an Ecuadorian habano.

Crowned Heads launched the Mule Kick in 2012, taking its debut Four Kicks blend, but using a darker version of the Ecuadorian habano wrapper. Last year, the Mule Kick returned, once again with the Ecuadorian habano wrapper.

“We could’ve easily re-released the OR Mule Kick blend again; however, we wanted to take it to another level,” said Jon Huber, Crowned Heads co-founder in a press release. ” When we added the Connecticut (Habano) wrapper to the blend, we collectively agreed that it just truly added another dimension of structure, flavor, and intensity that surpassed the OR.”

The Four Kicks Mule Kick Limited Edition 2018 is priced at $10.95 per cigar and limited to 3,000 boxes of 10 cigars.

It is scheduled to begin shipping in April.
