Crowned Heads Delays Four Kicks Maduro Until October

If you were hoping to try the Four Kicks Maduro, you will have to wait a bit longer.

The company has delayed the new line from its originally announced late August launch date until October.

Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads, told halfwheel the company made the decision in agreement with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr., who is producing the cigar, because of the processing of the wrapper.

“The reality of the current situation is that the wrapper that’s being used on the Four Kicks Maduro brand (Connecticut Habano) is requiring more processing time than we’d originally anticipated in order to get the tobaccos where we want them to be in terms of flavor, roundness, and combustion,” said Huber in an email.

Customers that placed orders at the 2017 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show will retain priority allotments when the cigars do begin shipping. In the interim, Crowned Heads is still taking orders for the cigar.

Underneath the aforementioned Connecticut habano wrapper is a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.

It is offered in four sizes.
