For the first time ever, Crowned Heads will use its own name on a cigar.

Later this month, the company will show off the Crowned Heads Court Reserve XVIII, a new limited edition three-size line.

“The genesis and inspiration of the company name ‘Crowned Heads’ was a far cry from anything ‘royal;’ however, over the years the Crowned Heads legion of supporters has been quietly and reverently referred to as our ‘Court,'” reads an announcement. “By literal definition, a court is an extended royal household, which in some cases would be comprised of thousands of individuals. CHC Reserve was crafted specifically with a spirit of gratitude and humility towards those and for those that have supported Crowned Heads over the years.”

Crowned Heads Court Reserve XVIII uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The company says it selected tobaccos based on their terroir, availability and age. It will be offered in three sizes, each of which were used for the company’s debut release, Four Kicks.

  • Crowned Heads Court Reserve XVIII Corona Gorda (5 5/8 x 46)
  • Crowned Heads Court Reserve XVIII Robusto (5 x 50)
  • Crowned Heads Court Reserve XVIII Sublime (6 x 54)

A total of 150,000 cigars have been rolled, which will be sold in 20-count boxes.

The company says each vitola was blended specifically to the size..

Crowned Heads will debut the cigar at the 2018 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, which begins July 13 in Las Vegas, and it will ship to retailers this fall.

The Crowned Heads Court Reserve XVIII is being rolled at Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr.’s Tabacalera La Alianza S.A.
