Habanos S.A. has announced that the new Cohiba bands, first seen on the Pirámides Extra, will now be extended to the two core Cohiba lines, Línea 1492 and Clásica.

This means that soon, the Cohiba Especiales, Espléndidos, Exquisitos, Lanceros, Panetelas, Robustos and all six cigars that use the word Siglo in their name—will feature the updated band. Habanos S.A. claims the band was made to help reduce counterfeiting. Also receiving the new band is this year’s upcoming Cohiba Edición Limitada, the Robustos Supremos.
