Colibri is adding four new metallic color options to its popular V-Cut cutter, all of which will be on display at the upcoming IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.

The company will be making the V-Cut available in orange, electric blue, pink and green, all of which will have an MSRP of $39 and are scheduled to be on store shelves in October. All of the new designs will still feature the V-Cut’s rubberized black lacquer body, and with their addition brings the total number of color options to ten.

The Colibri V-Cut debuted in 2013 and is one of the better v-cutters on the market thanks to a number of engineering designs that result in a smooth and precise cutting action.

Colibri recently announced the new S-Cut, which borrows from the V-Cut’s design but delivers a classic straight cut on a cigar.

The IPCPR Convention & Trade Show kicks off Friday, July 17 in New Orleans, La. and runs through July 21.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
