There will be an America-made Cohiba coming in the future.

General Cigar Co. has tapped El Titan de Bronze in Miami to produce the upcoming Cohiba Serie M Toro. Atlantic Cigar Co. has listed the cigar as a 6 x 52 toro that features a fantail cap and a covered foot. The retailer also says the cigar will have a Nicaraguan corojo wrapper and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

A representative from General Cigar Co. declined to comment on the cigar.

This will mark a homecoming of sorts for Sean Williams, who is the brand ambassador for Cohiba. Prior to taking the job, Williams had his own brand—El Primer Mundo—which made a cigar at El Titan de Bronze.

A fantail-topped cigar from El Titan de Bronze is reminiscent of the factory’s most famous line, the La Palina Goldie. General Cigar Co. joins Drew Estate as the other major company to have cigars made at the small Miami factory.
