While the Eiroa CBT Maduro might be getting all the attention, CLE Cigar Company is quietly adding a completely new flagship line. Known as the CLE Signature Series, it’s a line company founder Christian Eiroa says he’s been wanting to make since 2006.

“I am proud to introduce the CLE Signature Series Cigars; a collection of blends that I sit down and play with to smoke on my own,” said Erioa in a letter sent to retailers. “The cigars are made by three rollers in Miami who only make cigars for me and although the production is tiny, the attention to detail is huge. The production is so small that we can select the tobacco leaf by leaf, consider this a ‘gourmet’ cigar. One could say that I have actually met every single cigar made.”

The first of these lines is known as Primera Liga de Miami (PLdM), which translates into the first Miami line. It is offered in four sizes with production varying on the size. The company will make 116 boxes of the 5 1/2 x 46 ($15 per cigar), 198 boxes of the 4 1/2 x 50 ($16), 87 boxes of the 6 x 52 ($17) and just 57 boxes of the 6 x 60 vitola with pricing set at $18.

Each size is offered in cedar boxes of 25 with a minimal amount of lacquer is used in order for the cedar smell to marry with the cigar. Despite its price, the Signature Series PLdM will come without bands. Eiroa says it has always been his preference and he wants the experience with the cigars to be private, even secretive. The cigars will however come in tissue packs of five with a Boveda humidity pack in each five-pack. The tissue is also used to help the maturation process the company hopes for.

The cigars are expected to begin arriving shortly. As of now, the name of the company’s Miami rolling operations does not exist.
