Ciguardian is expanding its humidification offerings with a pair of lines, Humi-Lube and Pipe Genie.

Much like the company’s Ciguardian and Dr. RH lines, Humi-Lube is being offered in both gel jar and traditional humidifier formats, with the humidifier solution offered in three sizes.

The gel jars come in two ounce ($7) and four ounce ($9) formats, while the humidifiers come in a small, round format for humidifying up to 50 cigars ($15) or a large rectangular shape that can handle up to 250 cigars ($25).

The mold-inhibiting humidifying solution comes in three packaging sizes: eight ounces for $7.50, 16 ounces for $11.50 or 32 ounces for $15.99. It’s the first time the company has released its solution in a 32 ounce format.

Ciguardian Humilube

Like all of Ciguardian’s products, Humi-Lube accessories are sanitized with food grade hydrogen peroxide prior to packaging, with only domestic ingredients and components used in the food grade propylene glycol solution and humidifying crystals.

The line uses a 1950’s gas station pin-up girl theme, with the humidifiers packaged in reusable metal tins, black gel filled jars, and oil bottles for the humidifier solution. Belinda Doyle of Ciguardian said the artwork comes from created for a magazine called Wink, “which at the time was quite a naughty publication,” she noted via a press release.

The line is scheduled to begin shipping during the first week of August.

Ciguardian Pipe Genie

The company is also branching out into the pipe world with the release of Pipe Genie. “By request, we have also added a line of high quality pipe refresher/cleaning solutions to our product line,” Doyle said. It will be available in scented and unscented versions in cases of 12, retail for $4.00 each, and ready for shipping August 15.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
