Yesterday, the Cheektowaga Town Board unanimously passed a ban on burning tobacco products at the town’s Cultural Center, including the fenced-in areas around the Cultural Center and Lions Pavilion, according to a report on BuffaloNews.com.

The new ordinance applies to both indoor and outdoor facilities at the center.

Cheektowaga is located in Erie County, about 10 miles east of Buffalo, and has a population of approximately 88,000 people.
