There’s a new cigar with 24-karat gold leaf on top of the tobacco leaf.

Cavalier Genève has released its Limited Edition 2018, a 4 3/4 x 58 parejo based on the Black Series II. It uses a Mexican San Andrés negro wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.

Like the rest of the company’s releases, it features a gold diamond that sits on top of the wrapper, though this time it’s largely hidden by the cigars two paper bands. Once the cigar burns past the gold leaf, the gold transfer to the ash creating a distinctive look.

Pricing is $11 per cigar.

A total of 500 numbered boxes of 10 cigars have been produced, though only 200 of them will be available to U.S. customers. Cigar Art is the company’s U.S. distributor.
