There’s a pair of new line extensions from Cavalier Genève that have begun shipping to stores. Included in one of the boxes is also a mystery cigar.

The company is expanding the BII Viso Jalapa line with a limited edition called the Cavalier Genève BII Viso Jalapa Limited Release 2022. It’s a 5 1/4 x 56 parejo size made entirely of tobaccos from Nicaragua, including a viso wrapper from Jalapa, Nicaragua. Unlike the regular production vitolas, the Limited Release is a round cigar instead of box-pressed.

Inside the box of the Cavalier Genève BII Viso Jalapa Limited Release 2022 are 10 of the Limited Release cigars and one other cigar, which can be seen in the photo above towards the bottom of the box. It’s a different cigar that was rolled by the factory manager and general manager of Fábrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. Cavalier is declining to disclose details about the 11th cigar.

The MSRP is set at $12.50 per cigar, including the 11th cigar, and it is limited to 1,948 boxes of 11 cigars, each numbered by hand.

Cavalier Genève released the BII Viso Jalapa last year in five box-pressed vitolas.

The company has also added a 5 3/4 x 44 corona to its White Series line. Blend-wise, the White Series uses a habano wrapper over a Connecticut binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Paraguay.

Cavalier Genève has priced the White Series Corona at $9.70 per cigar.
