The surprises keep coming, as the third full day of the Festival de Habano XXIII in Havana, Cuba included something that has never happened in the history of the event.

Day 2 of the Festival del Habano XXIII: now with more broken down buses!

The first official day of the Festival del Habano XXIII included the appearance of a very special surprise guest, albeit for less than about 15 minutes.

I land in Havana, Cuba and manage a minor miracle by getting through the airport in under 15 minutes before attending an exclusive press event to try the Montecristo L’Esprit, a new size for Habanos S.A.’s Montecristo line packaged in a trio of humidors that have been produced in collaboration with S.T. Dupont.

It’s time to bring the Puro Sabor festival to a close and head home, but not before a day full of factory visits and a heck of a final party.

Day 4 of Puro Sabor featured the official grand opening of a new factory, plus a visit to a factory I haven’t seen in several years.

Day 3 of Puro Sabor saw the group make the drive from Granada to Estelí, with a stop at a tobacco farm along the way and the first factory visit of the trip.

After being forced to cancel the 2021 and 2022 festivals, Nicaragua’s Puro Sabor festival is back and off to a strong start.
