Next month, Quesada Cigars will ship two new sizes of Domus Magnus, Caligula and Tiberius. News of the sizes was first reported on the Kiss My Ash radio show this past weekend. Earlier today, Cigar Insider reported the Caligula will be a 6 x 60 box-pressed double perfecto while the Tiberius is a 6 x 54 cigar with a shape similar to the curves of a Bic lighter. Both cigars will retail for $10.95.

Domus Magnus II is the company’s regular production follow-up to the Domus Magnus, a limited edition cigar that debuted in 2011. After the success of that cigar, the company added a regular production offering which used a different vintage of tobacco, notably a 2007 sun grown wrapper from the Jalapa region of Nicaragua. The company debuted the Domus Magnus II last year with the Optimus (5 3/4 x 52) and Primus (6 1/2 x 55) sizes, the two original sizes of Domus Magnus.

The Casa Magna brand is a partnership between the Quesada and Plasencia families with the latter making at the Estelí, Nicaragua-based Plasencia Cigars S.A. and the former distributing it through Quesada Cigars, formerly known as SAG Imports. Earlier this year, a private label Casa Magna Dominican was announced, a cigar that is made by Quesada Cigars.
