Arsenio Ramos, the master blender for AGANORSA/Casa Fernández, is getting another cigar. At this year’s IPCPR trade show and convention the company will unveiled the Casa Fernández Arsenio Oro, a cigar made in honor of his 80th birthday.

Casa Fernandez Arsenio Oro

As one would expect—the cigar is a Nicaraguan puro using AGANORSA’s tobaccos including a corojo wrapper. The full-bodied regular production cigar is offered in three box-pressed sizes: Robusto (5 1/2 x 54, $9.68), Toro (6 1/2 x 52, $9.80) and Coloso (6 x 60, $9.94). All three sizes are offered in boxes of 20.

While Ramos himself lives in Estelí, Nicaragua and spends times at the company’s TABSA factory, the cigar is rolled in Miami at Casa Fernández Miami, where the company says its least experienced craftsmen is a level seven roller. In 2009, the company created the Casa Fernández Arsenio line named after Ramos. The cigars are expected to ship by late August.
