AGANORSA Leaf, the company formerly known as Casa Fernández, has announced that the Casa Fernández Aniversario Perfecto is back for 2019.

The 6 3/4 x 52 box-pressed perfecto was released last year as part of Casa Fernández’s limited edition Aniversario Series. Like last year, the cigar is limited to 250 boxes of 10 cigars and was made by a single roller in the company’s Miami-based factory. This year’s version will be box-pressed while last year’s was round.

It uses a Nicaraguan corojo 99 wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí and Jalapa.

“This special edition must be ordered at our booth (at the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show,)” said Terence Reilly, vp of sales and marketing for AGANORSA Leaf, in a press release. “We expect to sell out quickly so we are limiting each retailer to a total of six boxes.”

The pricing has changed, up to $13.99 per cigar from $13.50 last year. AGANORSA Leaf expects the cigar to begin shipping to retailers in July.

Update (June 19, 2019) — Added clarification that this year’s cigar is box-pressed not round.
