Casa de Montecristo Lands Exclusive Grupo de Maestros Private Batch

The Grupo de Maestros brand from Altadis U.S.A. now has an eponymous release, exclusive to Casa de Montecristo stores.

It is a 6 1/8 x 52 belicoso made entirely of Dominican tobacco, priced at $13.50. The cigars have been aged for 10 years at the Tabacalera de García factory in the Dominican Republic. The Grupo de Maestros refers to a group of senior manufacturing heads based at the Tabacalera de García. Altadis U.S.A. has previously sold cigars under the Montecristo and H. Upmann names with Grupo de Maestros branding.

The company says it is currently offered in nine Casa de Montecristo stores at the moment:

Next month, all 28 Casa de Montecristo stores will carry the brand.
