The Casa Cuevas warehouse in Miami was burglarized over the weekend.
Perpetrators stole the company’s entire inventory that was housed at the facility, which included not only core line cigars but also limited edition releases. The company says it has notified the Miami-Dade Police and an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
“Our entire inventory of Casa Cuevas Cigars, including our core line of Connecticut, Habano and Maduro, our Habano and Maduro Limited Edition Flacos, and our new box pressed, are all gone,” said Luis Cuevas, owner of Casa Cuevas, in a press release.
According to a statement issued on Monday morning, the company says it has enough inventory at its Dominican factory to restock the warehouse by late next week. Casa Cuevas is also asking anyone who has been approached to purchase Casa Cuevas cigars through anyone other than a reputable distributor or retailer to contact the company.
