Casa 1910 has announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with ImpCor GmbH in Herisau, Switzerland that will bring its cigars to that country beginning this summer.

“With our partnership with ImpCor, we aim to establish ourselves as the leading brand in the boutique segment within Switzerland,” said Jamie Baer, ceo of Casa 1910, via a press release. “Our objective is to showcase our brand in prominent traditional retailers throughout the country, while also focusing on positioning Casa 1910 in luxury hotels and golf clubs across Switzerland.”

ImpCor GmbH has been in the industry since 2010 and currently lists Fratello, Casa Turrent, ADV & McKay Cigar Co. and Gurkha among its clients, among others. The company also distributes cigar accessories and coffee in the country.

Baer added that Casa 1910 will be working with ImpCor on hosting events and conducting in-store visits to engage and support its clients in the country.

“We eagerly anticipate a close collaboration with ImpCor, as we firmly believe they are the perfect partner to position Casa 1910 in the market and expand the brand’s reach. Our goal is to bring the hard work and meticulous attention to detail that went into creating Mexico’s finest cigars to consumers of different ages and preferences, ensuring they can truly savor the experience,” Baer said.

Beyond being distributed in México, the United States and Switzerland, Casa 1910 is distributed in Montenegro, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Serbia and the United Arab Emirates, among others.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. I previously covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
