Today, Davidoff of Geneva USA began shipping a trio of limited edition releases: the Camacho Shellback, Ditka Game Time and Room101 Johnny Tobacconaut.
All three products fall under the company’s Camacho portfolio of brands, two of which were shown off at the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.
The Shellback is the second limited edition in the company’s new Brotherhood Series. It is only offered in one size, a 6 x 50 toro, and uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers from Estelí.
Suggested retail pricing is $12 per cigar and it is limited to 4,000 boxes of 20.
The release is inspired by a naval term. Shellback refers to someone who has performed missions on both sides of the equator.
Ditka Game Time was formally announced last month, the latest in the company’s releases with football legend Mike Ditka.
It’s also limited to a single size, this time 6 1/2 x 54. The new Ditka uses Nicaraguan wrapper, Brazilian mata fina binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Honduras. Pricing is suggested at $11 per cigar and the release is limited to 2,500 boxes of 20 cigars.
The company has also begun to ship the Room101 Johnny Tobacconaut nationally. That cigar formally began shipping earlier this week to select retailers in Louisiana ahead of events done by brand owner Matt Booth.
All three cigars are produced at the company’s Agroindustria LAEPE S.A. in Danlí, Honduras.
