Caldwell Increasing Prices July 8

Caldwell Cigar Co. has annnounced that it will be increasing its prices for the first time since 2016.

Effective, July 8, the company will increase the price of the company’s Eastern Standard, King is Dead, Long Live the King and Hit & Run. The company says that the increeases are less than 2.75 percent.

“We have done our best to maintain prices as fairly as possible,” said the company in a letter to retailers. “Unfortunately we are now facing increased tobacco, compliance and user fee costs. We only use the highest quality tobacco available and lay it down to rest until it has reached its’ highest potential. We go through this long process to ensure we give our customers the best and most unique products that we can.”
