Down&Back, LLC—the parent company of Caldwell Cigar Co.—is the new U.S. distributor for Porsche Design smoking accessories.

The company says it will begin a “beta launch” of a new strategy with select partner stores next week, with expanded in-store presence in the coming months.

“Porsche Design is a special brand,” said Robert Caldwell, president of Down&Back, in a press release. “It is a brand that transcends the cigar industry and pushes the limits of design and creativity. We are very proud to have this opportunity.”

The company says it has spent 10 months working with Sam Wong, the license holder for Porsche Design smoking accessories, planning the new partnership.

Down&Back, LLC also distributes La Barbra cigars.

Porsche Design is a large group of companies that produces of a variety of products ranging from clothing to electronics, jewelry and even buildings. The larger company is owned by the automaker of the same name.
