The bidding on C.Gars Ltd.’s summer auction of cigars has officially opened.

This 21st auction is being conducted completely online, with a total of 330 lots up for bids that come from estates, investors and collectors.

Among the featured lots is a cabinet of 500 pre-embargo Punch Coronas, which are expected to fetch between £40,500 and £49,500, or $52,200 and $64,000.

Partagás fans get a pair of notable rarities in this year’s auction: a cabinet of 100 Partagás No.III and the Partagás 165th anniversary humidor from 2010 with 50 cigars inside.

Collectors of Cuban-made Davidoff cigars will also have some choice items to consider, including a sealed cabinet of 50 Davidoff Chateau Yquem from the 1980s, and a partial cabinet containing 47 Davidoff Chateau Latour cigars that date back to the 1970s.

The Dunhill brand is also well-represented with 17 lots, highlighted by the Dunhill Special Selection No.415, a pre-embargo cabinet containing 60 cigars that is expected to fetch between £6,000-8,000, or $7,700-10,000.

The complete catalog can be viewed online here.

The auction will conclude on June 11.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
