At an event last week in Cologne, Germany, J.C. Newman showed off a new Brick House blend.

It’s called the Brick House Ciento Por Ciento, Spanish for 100 percent. That references the blend, which is 100 percent Nicaraguan, including a wrapper from Jalapa. J.C. Newman brought a 5 x 56 belicoso to Big Smoke Cologne. Only 1,000 cigars were handed out.

As for what happens next, the cigar will likely be offered to international markets. Drew Newman, general counsel for J.C. Newman, told halfwheel the cigar could come to the U.S. in a special format, such as an exclusive for the Tobacconists’ Association of America retailers, though those plans aren’t finalized. He described the blend as being “distinct” from the other three Brick House blends.

Like the rest of the Brick House line, it is made at the J.C. Newman PENSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. Brick House is distributed by Arnold André in Germany.
