The founder of one of Europe’s largest online retailers is now working for Boveda.

Benjamin Patock—who is best known as the founder of noblego.de, a German-based online retailer—is now the head of international relationships for the Minnetonka, Minn.-based humidification company.

“Benjamin brings his experience as an entrepreneur in building very successful European brands in a highly regulated market setting,” said Sean Knutsen, Boveda’s ceo, in a press release. “Along with his great knowledge of cigars and his established networks, he is most importantly a great fit for our team. We had known each other for quite a while now and we are very happy to work together now.“

Boveda sells its products for a variety of applications, notably: tobacco, marijuana and musical instruments. Patock will work in all three sectors.

“To join Boveda was one of the easiest decisions in my life since I use the products every day ever since I have seen how superior their performance is,” said Patock. “At Noblego we were the first online retailer to ship our premium cigars protected by Boveda, thus creating a new benchmark for customer experience. It is always a pleasure to join a group of like-minded and highly dedicated people and I am looking forward to the exciting times that are ahead. I am extremely thrilled.”

Patock will be based in Berlin.
