Black Label Trading Co. has begun shipping the 2019 version of Santa Muerte.

Santa Muerte debuted in 2016 and uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper and binder over six different fillers: Dominican, Mexican, Nicaraguan and broadleaf tobacco grown in the United States.

Once again, there will be two sizes offered, price the same as last year.

  • Black Label Trading Co. Santa Muerte Corona Gorda (2019) (5 1/2 x 48) — $10 (Box of 20, $200)
  • Black Label Trading Co. Santa Muerte Short Robusto (2019) (4 3/4 x 52) — $10 (Box of 20, $200)

There will be 400 boxes per size released this year.

Santa Muerte typically ships around this time of year to coincide with Día de Muertos, a Mexican holiday honoring those who have passed away.

“As the name suggests, there is a Day of the Dead tribute to honor those we have lost,” said James Brown, co-founder of Black Label Trading Co., in a press release.
