Vlada Stojanov, the owner of the Bespoke Co., has announced that his company is no longer serving as the U.S. distributor for Casdagli, effective today.

For five years, Stojanov has been the American distributor for Casdagli, first starting when the brand was known as Bespoke before it transitioned to the Casdagli name. Stojanov is not leaving the cigar industry. Instead, the Bespoke Co. will focus on the other companies it distributes for—Casa 1910, Despot, Lampert and Xhaxhi Bobi—as well as Stojanov’s own brand, which will be called Somm. Stojanov says he plans on debuting Somm at next month’s TPE 2023 trade show in Las Vegas.

“I want to thank the friends, retailers and consumers for the support shown in growing the brand over the last five years,” said Stojanov in a press release. “I wish Jeremy and the brand the best of luck in their new venture and direction.”

Stirling International OÜ, the parent of Casdagli, says it plans on announcing its own U.S. distribution this week.

Update — Added note that Stirling International OÜ plans on launching its own U.S. distribution.

I am an editor and co-founder of halfwheel.com/Rueda Media, LLC. I previously co-founded and published TheCigarFeed, one of the two predecessors of halfwheel. I have written about the cigar industry for more than a decade, covering everything from product launches to regulation to M&A. In addition, I handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff here at halfwheel. I enjoy playing tennis, watching boxing, falling asleep to the Le Mans 24, wearing sweatshirts year-round and eating gyros. echte liebe.
