Smoking in the oldest city in Nebraska might become more limited.

The Bellevue City Council will consider a smoking ban that would cover all public places, including parks and city property, at a heart on Oct. 12.

Bellevue is the third largest city in Nebraska with a population of over 50,000. It is located in Sarpy County in the eastern part of the state.
