Bellatto Premium Cigars has announced its first new brand under its new name.

Previously, the company was known as La Barba Cigars, the brand from Tony Bellatto. Now, it’s known as Bellatto Premium Cigars and the first new line from the rebranded company will be Knockaround. Tony Bellatto said he wanted to create a cigar that could be enjoyed every day and price accordingly.

It uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Dominican habano binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic. Like many other cigars from Tony Bellatto, it will be rolled at Tabacalera William Ventura. There will be three sizes offered when the cigar debuts next month:

  • Knockaround Robusto 550 (5 x 50) — $7 x 50 (Box of 20, $140)
  • Knockaround Toro 650 (6 x 50) — $8 (Box of 20, $160)
  • Knockaround Gordo 660 (6 x 60) — $9 (Box of 20, $180)

Tony Bellatto said about the concept, “It’s for me, honestly, and for my friends first-and-foremost, but also for the people I know who don’t want to sacrifice in quality or experience, but ultimately want something that can fit in your regular rotation without breaking the bank.”

Knockaround will debut at the 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place July 9-12 in Las Vegas. Bellatto says the cigars should be shipping by the time the trade show begins.
