Balmoral Añejo XO Oscuro Lancero FT Shipping Next Month

The Balmoral Añejo XO Oscuro Lancero FT Edición Limitada will head to stores next month.

This is the second lancero for the Balmoral brand following the release of the Añejo XO Lancero FT in 2016 and 2018. The Oscuro Lancero FT measures 7 x 40, the FT is a reference to a fan tail cap. It uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Dominican olor binders and fillers from the Domincian Republic and Nicaragua, as well as the Brazilian mata norte leaf that is a signature of Royal Agio.

“This is a special release for Balmoral that will also certainly excite the senses, and I am personally very excited to share it with cigar lovers everywhere,” said Boris Wintermans, ceo of Royal Agio Cigars, in a press release. “While the introduction of the Añejo XO Oscuro blend was itself a noteworthy discovery, the length and ring gauge of the lancero brings with it an intensification that is closer to the core of this exceptional blend.”

Pricing is set at $12.95 and it is limited to 2,650 boxes of 10 cigars, with only 500 being released in the U.S.
