Bahama Mamas Company, LLC has announced three new staff hires.

Richard Cucharo is the company’s new key account manager, James Beam is the new social media manager, and Tony Lima is the new customer development manager.

“It will be a genuine pleasure working with the great people of this terrific small batch company,” said Cucharo in a press release. “We’re producing two terrific, affordably priced, premium boutique cigars. I’m looking forward to showing the larger marketplace the enhanced profitability and brand support from both brands. We want sellers across the country to understand the win-win value Bahama Mamas and LaMirada (sic) have been delivering to date.”

Bahama Mamas Company, LLC is the parent company of the eponymous Bahama Mamas brand—made at La Aurora—as well as La Mirada, which was launched last year and is made at Tabacalera Palma. The company was created following the purchase of the Bahama Mamas brand in 2017.

Cucharo is a longtime tobacco industry veteran whose career includes owning Tobacco King stores in Long Island, as well as stops at Harold Levinson Associates and Nat Sherman.

The new hires come roughly a month after Brad Berko announced that he had left his role as managing director of Bahama Mamas.
