While Rob Weiss is a member of Camacho’s Board of the Bold, the sophomore release for his B.G. Meyer Co. will be coming from one of Davidoff’s Dominican Republic factories. At this year’s IPCPR convention and trade show, the company will show off Slackers, a 4 x 48 cigar packed into tins of four.

Slackers was developed with Henke Kelner. It uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, dual Dominican binders and three different fillers from the Dominican Republic. Press material describes the cigar as “mild to medium.” Pricing is set at $4 per cigar with five tins of four (20 total cigars) packaged in a sleeve.

The cigar is made at the Occidental Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic, a Davidoff-owned factory. Slackers should be on shelves in late August according to the company. In addition to the smaller cigar, the company will also show off Weiss’s first cigar, Standard Issue, which soft-launched a few weeks ago.

Camacho’s Board of Bold also includes Matt Booth or Room101 and Mike Ditka of Ditka. This is the first time that any of the brands have been made outside of Camacho’s factory in the Dominican Republic. B.G. Meyer Co. is distributed by Davidoff.
