As expected, the Italian cigar brand Toscano will move its U.S. distribution in-house.

Effective Feb. 1, Avanti Cigar Co.—a subsidiary of Parodi Holdings, LLC—will take over the U.S. distribution of Toscano from Miami Cigar & Co. The announcement comes roughly two months after Toscano’s current distributor—Miami Cigar & Co.—announced substantial cuts to its salesforce.

Parodi—and therefore Avanti—is actually owned by Toscano. The company produces dry-cured and fire-cured cigars in its facility in Scranton, Pa. similar to the ones that Toscano makes in Italy.
