Austin, Ind. has banned smoking in all public places, including businesses.

Last week, the southern Indiana town banned smoking in all public places with little exception. Smoking is still allowed outside so long as it is 15 feet from entrances, windows or ventilation systems of buildings.

Austin is located in Scott County, in the southwestern part of the state. It has a population under 5,000.
