The Asylum 9 is off to stores.

It’s the third in Asylum’s anniversary series of cigars—the first was called Asylum Seven, the second was named Asylum 8—with each number corresponding to the anniversary Asylum is celebrating this year. As with the Seven and 8, there are two sizes—they’ve been the same for every release so far—and each comes in a coffin.

  • Asylum 9 11/18 (6 x 48/54/48) — $20.30 (Box of 20, $406)
  • Asylum 9 7 x 70 — $25.30 (Box of 20, $506)

Blend-wise, it’s a Honduran puro that is being produced at The CLE Factory in Danlí, Honduras. If that sounds familiar, it’s the same story as the Asylum 8, though Asylum says the blends are different. Each vitola is limited to 1,000 boxes of 20 cigars.
