Ashton Releases ESG 24 Year Salute

Just in time for the holidays, Ashton’s first expansion to the Estate Sun Grown line in two years is now heading to shelves. The Ashton ESG 24 Year Salute began shipping last week nationally according to Chip Goldeen, vp of sales for Ashton Distributors, Inc.

The 6 5/8 x 48 Double Perfecto is the fifth, and expected final, size for the line. It retails for $21 per cigar or $525 per box of 25 cigars.

Debuting in 2006, Estate Sun Grown is the highest-priced item in the Ashton portfolio, made to honor the company’s 20th and 25th anniversaries. The cigar uses wrapper from Chateau de la Fuente, the Fuente family farm where Fuente Fuente OpusX tobacco comes from.

Update: Ashton originally listed the cigar as 6 5/8 x 47, it is actually 6 5/8 x 48.
