Arturo Fuente will offer retailers who attend this year’s PCA Trade Show & Convention the opportunity to purchase what the company is describing as eight boxes of rare cigars. One is centered around Hemingway, the other OpusX ForbiddenX.

Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. outlined the two gift sets in a letter. The Hemingway gift set seems likely to contain at least one new cigar as it is set to include:

  • Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story Rosado
  • Arturo Fuente Hemingway Work of Art Rosado
  • Arturo Fuente Hemingway Signature Rosado
  • Arturo Fuente Hemingway Carlito’s Way Rosado

When asked via text, Fuente Jr. declined to provide more details about the cigars at the moment. At the very least, Arturo Fuente Hemingway Carlito’s Way Rosado would appear to be a new cigar.

The company also says it will offer retailers four sizes of Fuente Fuente OpusX FobiddenX.

Both will be offered in four box sets, i.e. a box of each size.

The announcement was spurred by last week’s news that four of the largest cigar companies would not be attending the 2020 trade show due to a variety of reasons.

“Retailer attendance at the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show helps fund the fight against FDA regulation of our industry,” wrote Fuente Jr. in a letter.

PCA 2020, formerly IPCPR 2020, takes place July 11-14 in Las Vegas.
