Andrew Brennan & La Palina Part Ways

The latest employment change following the IPCPR trade show will happen at La Palina. Andrew Brennan, director of sales for La Palina, will depart the company at the end of the next month. It’s believed that his two-year contract with the company was set to expire in October and no extension agreement was reached.

“I’m proud to have been a part of that and of the job that I did,” said Brennan to halfwheel. “I truly enjoyed working closely with Bill Paley and helping him achieve his dream, but I’m excited about my next challenge.”

Brennan joined La Palina after five years at La Flor Dominicana, including serving as the company’s vp of sales. Throughout the less than two-year tenure he oversaw the hiring of the company’s first full-time sales rep, as well as a change in the company’s brokers.

In 2009, Bill Paley resurrected the La Palina brand, a company his family once owned before its attention turned to their radio business, which evolved into CBS. 

There’s been no announcement regarding Brennan’s replacement or where he might end up. The news comes in the wake of individuals in similar roles leaving House of Emilio, Lou Rodriguez and Total Flame, all within weeks of this year’s trade show.
