Patoro Cigars has announced that Andrew Brennan has joined the company as its new director of U.S. operations.

Brennan will oversee the company’s sales objectives, retail partner relationships and the overall brand image in the country, according to a press release from Patoro. He will report to Patrik Martin and Dr. Pablo Richard, the company’s co-founders.

“Andrew bring a wealth of sales knowledge and vast experience within the U.S. premium cigar industry,” said Richard in a press release. “He is an ideal fit with our vision in continuing to grow and build the Patoro brand with in the United States,” he added.

Martin added that adding Brennan to the company was an important sign of the brand’s commitment to both the retailers and consumers in the United States.

Brennan is no stranger to the premium cigar industry, having previously been the director of sales for La Palina as the vp of sales for La Flor Dominicana.

Patoro is a European based company, with a range of cigars produced in the Dominican Republic at the De Los Reyes factory and distributed in the United States by Christian Eiroa’s CLE Cigar Co.
