Next week, United Cigars will show off its latest Firecracker release and this time it’s a green one.

While United Cigars will sell the cigar, the blend was developed by All Saints Cigars. The St. Patrick’s Firecracker uses a barber pole wrapper design, meaning it has two wrappers: a green candela leaf from Nicaragua and an Ecuadorian oscuro leaf to provide the contrast. Underneath is a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. Like other All Saints Cigars, the blend is made at Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.

The St. Patrick’s Firecracker is a 3 1/2 x 50 short robusto vitola with an elongated pigtail that is designed to mimic the fuse of a firework. The MSRP is set at $8 per cigar and production is limited to 300 boxes of 20 cigars.

“St. Patrick’s Day deserves a little extra spark and the St. Patrick’s Firecracker is the answer,” said Micky Pegg, founder of All Saints Cigars, in a press release. This was a special collaboration that led to several factory trips and the result is a beautiful blend capturing the All Saints profile with that Firecracker kick.”

United Cigars will show off the St. Patrick’s Firecracker at next week’s TPE 2023 trade show in Las Vegas. It is expected to begin shipping to stores the last week of February.

The roots of the Firecracker Series date back to 2007 and Two Guys Smoke Shop, a New Hampshire-based chain of retailers owned by Dave Garofalo, who also owns United. The Firecracker cigars are typically a 3 1/2 x 50 petit robusto that features a long pigtail. Over the years, various manufacturers have made Firecracker Series including Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, El ArtistaFratelloKristoff, La Flor Dominicana, My Father, Perdomo, RoMa Craft Tobac, Selected Tobacco and Tatuaje.

United Cigars has already announced the Perez-Carrillo Pledge as a future Firecracker release.

Update (March 6, 2023) — In the original version of this story David Garofalo’s name was misspelled.
