A half dozen new cigars from All Saints Cigars are shipping to stores. All six were shown off at last summer’s 2022 PCA Convention & Trade Show but they are finally heading to stores.

Four of them are the company’s new 4 1/2 x 44 Vesper size, which is being offered in each of the company’s four blends. Notably, the Vesper is a round size, whereas most of All Saints’ cigars are box-pressed. Regardless of blend—Dedicación, Dediciación Habano, St. Francis, or St. Francis Colorado—the Vesper has an MSRP of $9.60 and is sold in a 25-count box.

In addition, the Dediación Habano and St. Francis Colorado lines are getting a 5 x 54 torpedo size known as the Mitre. It has an MSRP of $11.20 regardless of the blend, and it too is a round size. The Mitre name is a reference to the name of the hat worn by Roman Catholic bishops. Mickey Pegg, All Saints co-founder, previously said that the pointed tip of a torpedo reminded him of the hat.

All of All Saints Cigars are made at Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A. (TAVICUSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua.

On Feb. 1, 2023, All Saints Cigars will increase the prices of its existing SKUs; the six new cigars along with the St. Francis Churchill are not increasing in price. The average change in prices of the affected SKUs is 1.77 percent, a relatively small change compared to most companies’ price increases.

It is widely expected that most cigar companies will be increasing prices in or around early 2023, most of which are likely to be announced in the first quarter of the year as that is when most companies traditionally make these announcements. Reasons for these increases include increased costs for tobacco and packaging, increased competition for labor, general inflation, and mirroring competitors’ price adjustments.

The following chart looks at what companies have announced price increases or no price increases for 2023.
