The latest extension to the Alec Bradley Nica Puro line will come in the form of the Diamond Rough-Cut, a 6 1/4 x 54 square-pressed cigar.

Last week, Scott Vines of Tor Imports, the U.K. distributor for Alec Bradley, tweeted a picture of the limited edition release.

Yesterday, Cigar Aficionado published details indicating the cigar is limited to 3000 boxes of 16 and priced at $7.75 per cigar. Only one tweak was made to the blend of the standard Nica Puro line, which is a Nicaraguan puro, the addition of a half leaf.

Its name comes from the shape, which makes it much like a diamond when the band is facing straight up.

This is the second limited edition release to be announced in as many months for the Nica Puro line, following the H-Town Lancero made for Stogies World Class Cigars of Houston, Texas. Like the rest of the line, the Alec Bradley Nica Puro Diamond Rough-Cut is made at Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
