Alec Bradley Names Jonathan Lipson Director of Sales and Marketing

Alec Bradley has appointed Jonathan Lipson as the company’s new director of sales and marketing, a change that became effective January 27.

Lipson will take over a number of the roles that had previously been managed by Clay Roberts, who departed Alec Bradley in December to join become a partner at La Palina.

“My four years on the sales side of Alec Bradley have been some of the best in my life,” Lipson told halfwheel. “I’m very happy to continue my career with Alec Bradley in my new capacity of director of sales and marketing. I would have not taken the position if I didn’t know that I had an A+ replacement.”

Lipson, who joined the company in February 2012, had previously been the company’s sales rep in the northeastern United States, covering New York City, New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. As part of the changes, Jonathan Walsh, who had covered the midwest for Alec Bradley, will take over Lipson’s territory, while Mike Zahn has been hired as the midwest account manager after working at Lake Country Cigars in Delafield, Wis.
