If you want to open a cigar lounge in Alamosa, Colo., you may now do so.

The Alamosa City Council voted 4-2 to allow for the creation of smoking lounges within city property.

However, the news isn’t all good. As part of the ordinance, the city also banned smoking in bars and taverns as part of an effort to make the city’s laws in compliance with the Colorado Clean Indoor Act.

According to Alamosa News, there’s no one currently petitioning to create a smoke lounge, but the city wanted to allow for that type of business in the event someone did. Smoking lounges would need to be 500 feet from areas zoned for residences, schools and parks, as well as provide proper ventilation and ban anyone under the age of 18 from entering the premises.

Alamosa is located in Alamosa County, in the southern part of the state, roughly 30 miles north of the New Mexico border. It has a population of around 9,000.
