Next week, JRE Tobacco Co. will ship the second batch of the Aladino Limited Edition.

The 6 x 52 toro uses a Cameroon-seed wrapper grown on the Eiroa farms in Honduras, along with binder and filler tobaccos that the company describes as “other Honduran tobacco of undisclosed origins.” According to the company, all of the tobacco was aged between 5-6 years.

It has an MSRP of $16 per cigar. JRE released the Aladino Limited Edition last year and said that it was bringing the cigar back due to requests from retailers and customers. While most details such as size, blend and price remain the same, the production run has changed. The 2023 release was limited to just 600 boxes, whereas the 2024 release is 1,200 boxes of 20 cigars. In addition, the 2023 release was only sold at U.S. stores, whereas this year’s release will go to stores worldwide.

“This cigar is a precursor to one of several larger personal projects from our archive and we are excited to begin sharing them in the near future,”the company said in a press release last year. “As always, we were looking to have a cigar that has high complexity in flavor but at the same time is contemporary for our smokers. The slightly ambiguous description of this cigar invites smokers to discover the mystical joy of our blending journey.”
