The latest edition to the Boutique Blends/Oliveros stable of release for the IPCPR 2013 trade show has been announced, the Aging Room Maduro. The cigar was announced over the weekend by Rafael Nodal, who described the blend as a “spiritual experience.”
It uses a five-year-old Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper over Dominican Habano tobaccos that Nodal described as “Aging Room Tobacco.” The company will have vitolas at launch Presto (4 1/2 x 48; boxes of 20, $165.00), Rondo (5 x 50; boxes of 20, $173.72), Mezzo (6 x 54; boxes of 20, $181.28), Major (6 1/2 x 60; boxes of 20, $190.00) and Alto (7 x 47; boxes of 20, $184.00).
While the company has described the tobacco as strong, it’s information sheet used the term “medium-full” when describing the cigar.
The Aging Room Maduro is scheduled to ship to retailers on July 20, 2013.
