At the InterTabac 2024 trade fair later this month, AGANORSA Leaf will unveil a pair of new vitolas for its Supreme Leaf line, as well as a new color scheme for international markets.

The two new sizes will use a modified color scheme indicating they are for international markets. Each of the sizes is limited to 2,024 individually numbered boxes of 10 cigars:

  • Supreme Leaf Inter Robusto (5 1/4 x 54) — €9 (Box of 10, €90)
  • Supreme Leaf Euro Toro (6 x 50) — €9.50 (Box of 10, €95)

Note: this pricing is for the German market.

While the bands have a new look, the blend remains the same as the sizes available in the U.S., using AGANORSA-grown Nicaraguan tobacco highlighted by a corojo 99 wrapper.

“Demand for Supreme Leaf continues to grow,” said Terence Reilly, vp of sales and marketing for AGANORSA Leaf, in a press release. “Fabien Ziegler, who is our director of business development and has overseen our rapid international growth, worked with our distribution partners at Kopp Tobaccos GmbH & Co to craft these unique sizes and look for the international market. We are excited to provide one of our most exclusive blends for our international partners throughout the world albeit only in limited quantities.”

Due to how widely pricing and taxes can vary from country to country, the company has not announced the MSRPs for the new cigars; Reilly told halfwheel that the cigars should ship to German retailers by mid-October.

InterTabac 2024 runs from Sept. 19-21 in Dortmund, Germany.

Update (Sept. 6, 2024) — Added pricing info.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
