A.J. Fernández Takes International Distribution in House
Effective Sept 1., A.J. Fernández will be distributing its own products internationally.
Currently, the cigars are being distributed Nadir y Bohue Pte. Ltd. (NyB), which has cigars produced by A.J. Fernández. In addition to the change in distribution, A.J. Fernández has appointed Steve Kron as the company’s new international sales director. Kron had been working for NyB in a similar role since April 2017 following his time at British American Tobacco overseeing the Dunhill cigar division.
‘I am honored and excited about the opportunities that lie ahead working with AJ and his team,” said Kron in a press release. “The passion and discipline that AJ puts into the production of every cigar leaving his factory in Nicaragua puts this portfolio of cigars in the forefront of the industry’ commented Kron on the announcement of his new position.”
