A.J. Fernández Changes San Lotano Oval to Cigars International Exclusive
A.J. Fernández has informed retailers that it has discontinued the San Lotano Oval line.
Emails sent to retailers stated the company wants to avoid confusion between the San Lotano Requiem and the Oval. The Oval was introduced 2011 using an Ecuadorian habano 2000 wrapper over Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. A year later, the company added a maduro version.
San Lotano Requiem is the core San Lotano line offered in Connecticut, Habano and Maduro.
The company says it will become a Cigars International exclusive. The retailer confirmed it purchased all of the remaining inventory.
