For the third year in a row, AJ Fernandez will introduce a new line at IPCPR—this year in the form of Pinolero, the colloquial term for Nicaraguans. The cigar is being described as a medium-full to line, which places it in between San Lotano and the San Lotano Oval and Oval Maduro.

Clay Roberts of AJ Fernandez Cigars tweeted this picture of the art for Pinolero a few days ago:

In addition, Roberts confirmed the blend will use a Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper, a Nicaraguan Corojo binders and Nicaraguan fillers including a tobacco described as “Fernandez’ Family Ligero.” There is also undisclosed tobacco in the filler in the blend.

There will be five six sizes with prices ranging from $7.00-$10.00:

  • Corona (5 x 42)
  • Robusto (5 x 52)
  • Figurado (5 3/4 x 54)
  • Toro (6 x 52)
  • Gran Toro (6 x 60)
  • Churchill (7 x 52)
